My name is Kristal Bernal. I've been at Helm Elementary School for about 4 years now. This school was good from the begining to the end. I liked all the students and the teachers.

My first teacher was Mr. Fiese. He was nice. Then, Mrs. Van Ravenhorst for 2 years. Finally, Mr. Barber. He is great! Mr. Barber is my favorite teacher of them all because he is nice and very funny.

It's been great being here at Helm. It's going to be so hard to say goodbye. I will miss everyone and everything about this school.

Hello. My name is Samantha Sanchez. I've been at this school for four years. I have had lots of fun these past four years.

The first year I came, my teacher was Mrs. Kalashian, then Mr.Fiese. The next two years my teacher was Mrs.Van Ravenhorst. I had a lot of fun in her class. She was always making us laugh. Then this year and my last is Mr. Barber. This year I have had the most fun. Mr. Barber has made this year fun with all the 8th grade activities we have had.

But, now I'm going to high school. But, before I leave, I would like to thank Mrs. Van Ravenhorst, Mr. Barber, and Mrs.Grider for all the support they have given me. Also I would like to thank Mrs. Hernandez for showing me how to have fun; and everyone else who has helped me. THANK YOU!

The thing I like about this school is that the school is small, and the teachers have more time to spend with us. There is one teacher that spent a lot of her time with me. Her name is Mrs. Van Ravenhorst. She is the one that helped me with my reading skills. She is the one that taught me how to read.

The other thing I like about this school is that we have good and nice teachers, and a good principal. One of the nicest teachers to me is Mr. Barber. He also takes time to help us.

I like my sports teacher. The thing I like about him is that he is fair with us. He even lets the people who don't know how to play that much in the game, even when we are losing. He's the kind of person who doesn't think that winning is most important. He wants us to learn to play the game, play fair, and most important, to have fun. Our coach is Mr. Barber.

I like this school because it is fun to be here. There are not that many people here. There are only a few here. When I first got here, there were a lot of people here. I had a lot of friends. They were cool. My favorite teacher was Mrs. Barnes. She was a nice lady. She would always help me with my work. She would help me a lot. I also like this school because they have computers with Internet. Every Friday they would have snack bar. They had it for a long time, and they still have it. We also had Mrs. Kalashian. She was very nice.

Hi, my name is Javier Ramirez. I would like to tell you about my favorite teachers. My first teacher is Mrs. Barnes. She showed me the way to be nice to other people, to never get mad at other people, and never fight. So far, it has worked. My second teacher is Mrs. V.R. She helped me to improve my reading skills, how to speak English better, and never be afraid to ask questions. My third teacher is a cool teacher. He tells us jokes. He makes us laugh every day. He is Mr. Barber. Another really important thing I like about this school is that there are no trouble makers. There are only a few students here and the teachers have more time to spend with us.
